Jean-Marie Schweizer, LUT
Jean-Marie is a third-year student, graduating in June 2018. He is the spiritual leader of Unity Lake Houston who suffered a severe loss during Hurricane Harvey. He simultaneously studies for his masters in clinical mental health counseling, specializing in trauma and crisis. He believes that both the secular and spiritual education will serve him well in ministry and service to the community. His background in meditation serves him well through the challenges of ministry, seminary, and life. He likes to be a calming presence in the midst of turmoil.
Randy is a second-year student at Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute. He is the Spiritual Leader of Unity Southeast In Kansas City. He has been featured on Unity.fm and continues to be a innovator, and voice in the future of the Unity movement. His ministry received a $50,000 Helping Unity Grow Fund from Unity Worldwide Ministries. When not at the church, in school, or on the soccer fields, Randy is the owner of Imprestige Media Marketing in Prairie Village, KS. Randy has two daughters Hanna age 20 and Isabella age 9. "I am open and receptive to being instrumental to the future of the Unity Movement."
Khalif is a second-year student, presently retired from real estate investments. He worked as an individual and business tax representative and brings knowledge in non-profit organizations to the table. He owned and operated a legal document production company, drafting civil and family legal documents for citizens and attorneys, and he managed (as president) a non-profit organization called Tutoring Teens with Great Expectations. Khalif has been a member of Unity Spiritual Center of Corpus Christi and guest speaker at various Unity centers in surrounding areas. His mission is to support and empower others to be more effective communicators in spiritual matters and in their lives. His endeavors are to help others grow spiritually to their fullest potential and their highest good.
Shirley Knight, a second-year ministerial student, is a member of Unity of Houston. In 2015 Shirley retired from a career in information management where she served progressively as training specialist, training supervisor, quality assurance lead and program manager. She earned masters of arts and bachelor of arts degrees in English. More information is available at AwakeNow.org.
Eliasa is a second year student on a part time track with graduation in the fall 2020. A mother of two, a ministerial student, and a active member of Unity of Kansas City North she is delighted to have been invited to share and build in her spiritual gifts in this way.
In ministry, she serves as a Chaplain, Platformer, part of the Leadership Team and then near and dear to heart the Youth of Unity (high school) Ministry Coordinator. She has spent the last 14 years of her career with the State of Missouri working as a liaison between systems serving the citizens of her state. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Social Psychology and a Masters of Social Work with training emphasis in crisis intervention and mental health; all which she feels has set her on a path to support compassion, personal growth and embody the teachings of Christ to live fully in gratitude.
She will say sharing in prayer is the most intimate connection we can have as we acknowledge the stillness of peace and the fullness of God in each other awakening to potential and promise.
Rhona is a second-year student at UWSI. She is blessed to be the Spiritual Leader at Unity of New Westminster, BC Canada. She enjoys learning about universal spiritual principles, the message of unconditional love that was taught by Jesus, and the metaphorical and metaphysical insights that we may learn from scripture. Rhona holds a degree in Economics and a diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology.
Bobby Kyser is a third-year student, and a native of Louisville, Kentucky
where he was an Allstate Insurance Agent for
20 years. In 2005, Bobby longed for a career
change and moved to Fort Lauderdale where
he opened a very successful wedding and
event company for 10 years. During this time,
he also found his home church Unity of Fort
Lauderdale. While serving as a platform
ministry leader, he received his call to ministry
and soon after headed to Unity Village.
Bobby has a bachelor of arts degree from
Lindsey Wilson Methodist College and is a
third-year student at Unity Spiritual Institute
where he is currently working on his masters in
divinity. Within a few months of moving to the
Village, the event staff discovered his wedding
talents and he now has an office and showroom
at Unity Village where he creates weddings and
events part time with the Unity Village event
